1. Automatic control
Automatic start is generally divided into chain start pump and linkage start pump. The chain start is based on the pressure switch on the alarm valve, the flow switch on the high-level fire water tank, the low pressure pressure switch on the main network, etc. This signal only needs one signal to chain directly. Start the fire pump.
In addition, the linkage activation of the pump is through the pre-designed logic relationship of the fire automatic alarm controller, and the linkage activation of the extinguishing pump, such as setting a certain temperature sense and two-way signals such as manual or deactivation signal linkage activation of the fire pump, etc.
2. Manual control
Manual start refers to starting the fire pump by manual operation. Manual start is generally divided into three ways:
One is to manually start and stop the fire pump by using the start-stop button on the water pump control cabinet, and the other is to manually start the fire pump directly by using the multi-wire panel or bus panel of the fire alarm controller. The third is to use the forced start-stop button on the pump control cabinet. This function is mainly used for maintenance control and emergency control.
3. Mechanical emergency control
Mechanical emergency control is to start the fire pump when the above automatic and manual start are invalid. When the control lines, relays and other equipment are damaged, as long as the fire pump is powered normally, the mechanical emergency device should be able to ensure that the pump is started.
